Early Morning Shooting Under Investigation in Sioux City

(Sioux City, IA) — Police in Sioux City are investigating an early morning (Wednesday) shooting that sent a man to the hospital. Officers say a 33-year-old victim was dropped off at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center. The man talked to police briefly before going into surgery. Investigators are trying to determine where the shooting happened and who brought the man to the hospital. No other information has been released.
