(Des Moines) Mediacom Communications will provide Iowa television viewers with live-action coverage of the upcoming Iowa High School Athletic Association’s (IHSAA) 2021 State Baseball Tournament competition.
The statewide cable channel, MC22, will televise the championship games for each class of state tournament competition. Live coverage begins Thursday, July 29, with the Class 1A championship game to be televised at noon, followed by the Class 2A championship at 2:30 pm. The second day for championship games is Saturday, July 31. MC22’s telecast of the Class 3A championship game will begin at noon, with the Class 4A championship game to air at 2:30 pm.
Fans can also choose to live-stream any of the four championship games via ihssn.com/live or through the Watch IHSSN app. The Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN) partners with Mediacom to provide MC22 with live TV coverage and replay rights for the championship games.
