Audubon 11, Riverside 8
Audubon advances in the Western Iowa Conference Tournament with a strong display of power hitting. They scored four runs to tie the game in the 4th inning and then posted five run 7th. Jordan Porsch, Johanna Sauers, Kali Irlmeier, Katelyn Nielsen, and Mattie Nielsen all hit a home run for Audubon. Irlmeier and Porsch each had three hits. Kenna Ford led Riverside’s offense going 3/4 with a double and three RBI.
AHSTW 7, Treynor 0
The Lady Vikes pick up their third win against the Cardinals this season behind a strong outing from Kailey Jones. The senior allowed four hits, no walks, and struck out two in six innings. Sienna Christian pitched a scoreless 7th with no hits, no walks, and two K’s. Darian Hansen hit a triple and drove in three runs. Grace Porter posted three hits and drove in two. Ally Meyers had two hits.
CAM 11, Orient-Macksburg 1
Emma Follmann allowed three hits in five innings pitched. She walked two batters and struck out six. Jenna Platt and Maddie Holtz had two hits each. Platt and Mady McKee both drove in two runs.
Harlan 11, SC East 1
Emily Brouse pitched the win and went 3/3 at the plate with two homers. Kate Heithoff and Tianna Kasperbauer each had two hits.
Griswold 6, Shenandoah 1
The Tigers gained some extra breathing room with a three run 7th. They’ve won 13 in a row and are 23-1. Brenna Rossell allowed four hits and struck out seven. Anna Kelley went 3/4 with a triple and four RBI. McKenna Wiechman and Makenna Askeland each had two hits.
