(Waterloo, IA) — An Iowa woman has been sentenced to almost six years in prison for stealing from her husband’s sick aunt. The victim was blind and suffering from diminished cognitive ability.
Fifty-three-year-old Kimberly Anny Henny was sentenced Friday in federal court for taking almost 495-thousand dollars from the victim. Initially, Henny only had authority over medical decisions, but she was able to expand her authority. The money was used to pay for a family vacation, furniture, spa sessions, and other personal purchases.
She still faces state charges.
