(Council Bluffs) One person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle.
The Council Bluffs Police Department says the accident happened around 6:44 p.m. at the Interstate 80 eastbound entrance ramp at Highway 6.
Authorities say the tractor-trailer exited the interstate by mistake and attempted to get back on the interstate traveling eastbound. As the semi crossed the northbound lanes of Highway 6, it broadsided a northbound vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was taken to UNMC for treatment.
The Council Bluffs Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
