(Pella) The National Weather Service in Des Moines will conduct a preliminary storm survey near Pella today.
According to the National Weather Service website, the survey is in relation to damage caused by a tornado that moved through the area early Sunday evening.
The results of the survey will be released later today.
Meanwhile, a cold front that moved central Iowa late Sunday afternoon and evening dropped pea size to ping pong size hail in Decatur County, and trained weather spotters reported two-inch hail five miles northeast of Afton in Union County.
