(Cedar Rapids, IA) — An industrial fire injured four people in Cedar Rapids Friday night, including a firefighter. Crews were called to P-M-X Industries at about 9:45 p-m. Firefighters were told the area burning included containers of highly flammable metal shavings on pallets. Four engine companies worked to control the flames and put the fire out. Two P-M-X employees were treated at the scene and a third had to be taken to UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment. A firefighter was also taken to St. Luke’s after suffering a minor injury.
