(Greene County) A 30-year-old from Des Moines has died in a single vehicle accident in Greene County.
The Iowa State Patrol says Theodore Wayne Sanford McGinnis was northbound on 330th Street between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. Friday. Roadway evidence indicates his 2007 Chevy Impala struck a pheasant causing him to veer to the west shoulder. The driver over corrected and entered the east ditch.
McGinnis was the lone occupant of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
