(Adair Co.) Adair County Conservation Director Dominic Johnson introduced new AmeriCorps Naturalist Kasha Shear to the Board of Supervisors Wednesday morning.
Kasha told the board that she grew up in the outdoors, camping all over Iowa, so she really has a background in environmental education which led her to this career path. She said she attends the University of South Dakota and she is a Conservation Biology major and Spanish major.

Meanwhile, Dominic Johnson said all of the campgrounds and facilities are open and the parks are starting to get busy.
In other news, the Supervisors approved a motion to make masks optional for the public and employees at the Adair County Courthouse.
