(Atlantic) Atlantic Parks and Recreation is gearing up for their summer programs.
Bryant Rasmussen told the Parks and Recreation Board Monday evening that they are holding a block party on Saturday, May 29th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sunnyside Park. There will be food and drink vendors, carnival and rec games and live music by Dirt Road Divide.
Rasmussen also noted that right now they only have one team signed up for slow pitch softball.
Rasmussen said they will have Art in the Park every Tuesday in June and July from 9 to 10 a.m.
Rasmussen said they are also working on some pickleball programs on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. and they are working on implementing Jazzercise at Sunnyside Park.
The Parks and Recreation Department will be releasing more details on all of these programs soon.
