(Atlantic) The Atlantic Community School District’s high school senior ceremonies continue this week.
At Wednesday’s School Board meeting, School Superintendent Steve Barber rolled out the schedule. Baccalaureate is on May 19, starting at 7:30 p.m.
The following Sunday, May 23, will be the Senior Graduation Ceremony starting at 2:00 p.m. in the Atlantic High School gymnasium. The seniors will be socially distanced on the gym floor for safety. Each graduate will be allowed to have up to eight guests attending the ceremony. The guests will have a section in the bleachers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Atlantic High School Principal Heather McKay is working out the details with all of the graduate’s families.
