Cass County Assessor Brenda Nelson accepts position as Assessor with the City of Ames

(Atlantic) Cass County Assessor Brenda Nelson has accepted a position as Assessor with the City of Ames.

Nelson said she received a call Wednesday evening for negotiations with the Ames City Assessor position and after thinking about it she accepted the position, which is effective June 15^th.

Nelson has been the Cass County Assessor since 2003.

Nelson’s last day as Cass County Assessor is May 26^th.
