(Adair) The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved an appointment to the Board of Health at their meeting Wednesday morning.
Jane Ernst told the Supervisors that they have been without a permanent Board of Health doctor for about a year.
Ernst also provided the Board with the Adair County COVID-19 statistics. She said they have had 863 positive cases, 811 have recovered, and there have been 32 COVID related deaths. She said there have been 4,365 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered by Adair County providers. 2,418 Adair County residents have been vaccinated, which is 34.2 percent of the eligible population.
