(Massena) Derek O’Neil of Alley-Poyner-Macchietto Architecture presented four facility upgrade ideas to CAM School District patrons at a public meeting in Massena on Monday night. The School district is seeking feedback from the public on ideas to improve the district facilities for educational purposes now and in the future.
O’Neil says the options are scenarios they put together to get feedback.
O’Neil presented Option A is to renovate and update all of the buildings in the CAM School District.
O’Neil says Option B gives the CAM School District a one-campus scenario by relocating all students PK-12 to the High School in Anita.
O’Neil Option C is an idea to relocate all students to the High School and Rec. Center.
Option D is another idea to relocate to the High School and South Elementary.
The attendees on zoom and in-person were asked to provide feedback on the four options on a survey. The survey results will be presented at the next public meeting with a date and time-released soon.
