(Guthrie Co.) Guthrie County Attorney Brenna Bird reported to the Supervisors on Tuesday that the criminal case load in the county is still up.
Bird said their total case count for January was 68 new cases, 75 in February, 54 in March, and they are up to 25 already in April.
Bird said the biggest trend right now is they are seeing more assaults.
Bird also noted that her office has been really busy with trials; they had two jury trials in March and they have a lot more coming up.
Bird thanked everyone involved with making these trials a success.
