(Des Moines) Governor Kim Reynolds, at her press conference this morning, said 1.94 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Iowa and 33 percent of Iowans are now fully vaccinated.
She said among specific age groups; 89 percent of Iowans age 65 and older have had at least one dose of vaccine, the rate for those in their 50’s is 52 percent, those in their 40’s is 47 percent, those in their 30’s is 40 percent, and those in their 20’s is 29 percent who have had at least one dose.
Reynolds also mentioned that the first 24 hour vaccine clinic will be held this weekend in Cedar Rapids. Linn County Public Health is hosting the clinic at Alliant Energy Convention Center from 9 a.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday.
