(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved new hires made by the County Engineer at their meeting this morning.
County Engineer Trent Wolken said he had 35 applicants for three maintenance positions and they were all very qualified candidates.
The following new hires were approved.
In other news, the Supervisors approved the Secondary Roads Five Year Construction Program; they approved the 2021 Weed Control Program which is the same as last year; and the Supervisors approved establishing a Cass County temporary County Redistricting Commission (districts based on 2020 census data) and appointed Board Chairman Steve Baier and Auditor Dale Sunderman as members.
