(Area) The ordering process is underway for the Cass County Conservation Board’s 4th Annual Native Plant Sale.
Naturalist Lora Kanning explains they have a variety of plants with different blooming colors, heights, and times. “These are native eco-type plants that like our wonderful Cass County soil. You are getting live plants so they are about 2-3″ tall or taller. We have ten forbs on the sale and one grass, so ten flowers and one grass.”
Prices range from $2.50 to $4.00 per plant. “They’ll be in right before Memorial Day, so get your orders in and those are due on April 30th.”
