Former Atlantic Prep Brooke Newell Third at MSU Spring Golf Tourney

(Springfield, Mo.) Former Atlantic standout and Missouri State University golfer Brooke Newell placed third out of 40 competitors at the Missouri State University Spring Golf Tournament. Newell posted a three-round score of 18 over par 234, six strokes off the leader Haeri Lee of Drake. The Former Atlantic prep shot 81, 78, and 75. Missouri State University won the tournament with a 934, Creighton second, 962, Drake third, 968, Wichita State, fourth, 976, Valparaiso, fifth, 1,011, and Omaha finished sixth with a 1,104.
