Greenfield City Council to hold public hearing on amendment to ordinance pertaining to sewer rates

(Greenfield) The Greenfield City Council Tuesday evening set a public hearing on an amendment to Ordinance 99.01 – Sewer Rates.

Greenfield City Clerk Becky Haase said the Council is planning to hire someone to start the process on becoming a wastewater operator. Haase said it takes several years and a lot of training to hire a new employee that will follow through the wastewater certifications and so their wages will be paid out of sewer rates.

The public hearing will be held March 1^st.
