ACGC: Freshman Tegan Slaybaugh posted a dramatic comeback win in the first round, Gunnar Larsen stayed in medal contention with a consolation win, and Cale Rowley was ousted on Thursday at the state tourney.
Nodaway Valley: Elliot Cooney picked up a pin at 120 and will face #3 Garrett Funk, of Don Bosco, on Friday.
AHSTW: Garrison Gettler is still alive on the back side of the bracket at 160. He lost his first match by fall to #5 Gavin Maguire (Logan-Magnolia), but responded with a 6-2 win over Wilton’s Kaden Shirk.
