Class 4A and 5A Girls Regional Tournament Pairings

(State) Class 4A and 5A girls basketball teams learned their potential path to Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday afternoon. The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released brackets for the two largest classes.

Postseason games begin on Wednesday, February 17th. Regional semifinals are on Saturday, February 20th. The Regional finals are on February 23rd.

Denison-Schleswig and Harlan are the top two seeds in Class 4A Region 8 and each will have a first round bye. Denison-Schleswig plays the winner of Boone/Perry and Harlan plays the winner of Spencer/Webster City.
