(State) The Iowa High School Athletic Association released Substate brackets for Class 3A and Class 4A basketball on Wednesday afternoon. The postseason begins for these classes on Monday, February 22nd.
Atlantic and Harlan are on opposite sides of the Substate 8 bracket in Class 3A. The Trojans will host Creston in the first round. The winner will go to Glenwood on Thursday, February 25th to face either Glenwood or Clarke. Harlan hits the round to face ADM for their postseason opener. The winner is in Grimes on Thursday the 25th against either Dallas Center-Grimes or Perry.
Substate final games are scheduled to be played on Monday, March 1st for Class 3A and on Tuesday, March 2nd for Class 4A.
