(Red Oak) Due to COVID 19 mitigation guidelines, the 2021 Hawkeye Ten Conference Wrestling tournament will be conducted differently this year.
Initially, the Tournament was to be held in Atlantic; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and limited spectators allowed to attend the event, conference officials opted to move it to Red Oak, where two adjoining gymnasiums will be utilized to allow for more spectators.
The format includes four mats in each gym, with the 106-145 pound matches held in the main gym and the 152-285 matches in the secondary gym. The matches will run simultaneously from start to finish, with a seventh-place match added to the tournament.
The Tournament starts at 10:00 a.m. We will provide updates on 95.7 F.M. with reports at 20 and:50 minutes past each hour. The first report starts at 10:20 a.m.
