(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Transportation has issued a Travel not Advised Warning for southwest Iowa.
Iowa State Patrol Trooper and Public Information Officer Shelby McCreedy says the advisory is from Omaha to Des Moines and from Missouri Valley to the Missouri Border.
Trooper McCreedy says visibility and traveling faster than the conditions warrant were factors in three-vehicle snowplow crashes in southwest Iowa today.
