Rosina Ann Peterson, the daughter of Everett Harley and Frieda Herta (Schoerner) Peterson, was born April 13, 1967, in Harlan, IA. She died January 17, 2021, at her home in Council Bluffs, IA, at the age of 53 years, 9 months, and 4 days.
Rosina lived in Harlan for several years before moving to a farm near McClelland, IA, with her family. When she turned 21, Rosina moved to Shelby, IA. Several years ago, she moved to Atlantic before settling in Council Bluffs.
Rosina enjoyed watching television and looking at magazines and books. She loved being outside and liked going for walks. Rosina especially loved making people laugh.
Rosina is preceded in death by her father; her grandparents; and her nieces, Faith and Hope.
She is survived by her mother Frieda Peterson of Oakland, IA; her sister Peggy Engle and husband Robert of Treynor, IA; her brothers, Michael Peterson and wife Jackie of Logan, IA; Steven Peterson of Rancho Cordova, CA, and Mark Peterson of Oakland, IA; and her nephews: Daniel, Christopher, Thomas, Stanley, and Henry.
A memorial service for Rosina will be held at a later date.
