(Harlan) The Harlan Police Department urges citizens not to travel, even in town, unless necessary. Snow and wind conditions are such that visibility is near zero in most areas.
Authorities say streets are snow-packed and slick in spots. All city crews are currently out trying to keep up with these bad conditions.
A Snow Emergency remains in effect for city streets and will be extended to cover all of today, January 15, and all of tomorrow.
The Snow Emergency will resume all day on Monday the 18th.
