(Red Oak) Red Oak firefighters were dispatched at around 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday; to the Pizza Hut following a report of smoke filling the attic. Patrons and staff were evacuated from the building.
Red Oak Fire Chief John Bruce says Firefighters located a burned electrical motor in the roof ventilation system. Officials disconnected the power, and the damage was confined to the motor itself.
The business resumed operations at 5:16 pm.
The Red Oak Police Department assisted firefighters at the scene. There were no injuries.
