(Harlan) Harlan will still have some restrictions in place as they welcome more fans for sporting events. While Governor Kim Reynolds has relaxed limitations this week, school officials at Harlan aren’t quite ready to fill the gym. The latest Spectator Guidance is as follows:
To be consistent with the Governor’s recent proclamation and our local board of education and board of health initiatives, we have modified our spectator guidelines for girls and boys basketball and wrestling duals. It is important to note the governor’s newest proclamation does create an opportunity for additions spectators as long as the facility will allow for social distancing between families. Please note that we will continue to review and revise our guidelines as necessary.
- Face coverings are to be worn by all spectators at all times.
- Social distancing between families will be maintained.
- Cheer, Band, Dance Team, and Coaches will continue to be allowed TWO spectators OR household members to check-in under their name.
- Athletes will be allowed to have SIX spectators check-in under their name OR household members (if beyond 6 in a household).
- SENIOR GIRLS TONIGHT (1/8/2021), will be allowed SIX spectators PLUS an additional FOUR spectators to celebrate Senior Night
- IF students are one of the SIX spectators for an athlete, they need to sit with their family group and/or be socially-distanced. There is NO STUDENT SECTION.
