(Griswold) On Wednesday, the Griswold and Lenox School Boards informally agreed to extend the shared Superintendent’s contract for another year. The contract will become official once Supplemental Aid and health insurance rates are set.
Henrichs says the sharing agreement has proven beneficial for both districts. He says both districts do some different things very well, which allows both districts to share thoughts and ideas.
Additionally, the agreement opened up other various operational opportunities, as along with other financial benefits.
The two districts initially entered into a three-year agreement starting with the 2016-2017 school years, and a two-year contract with shared Superintendent Dave Henrichs. His contract expires on June 30, 2021.
