(Griswold) The Griswold and Lenox School Boards agreed to informally renew the superintendent’s sharing agreement. Both boards met in a joint meeting on Wednesday.
While the two school boards agreed to extend the shared Superintendent Dave Henrichs contract and the sharing agreement itself for another year, they weren’t prepared to put anything in writing as far as Henrichs contract until some of the unknown variables become clearer.
Shared Superintendent Dave Henrichs says those variables include; State Supplemental Aid and Health Insurance. “The boards didn’t feel it was an appropriate time to set the salary without knowing all of this information,” said Henrichs.
Henrichs says once the Legislature sets the State Supplemental Aid, and the new health insurance rates are released, the two School Board Presidents will get together, come to an agreement, and place it in front of their respective boards for approval.
