(Guthrie Co.) The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors held their first meeting of the New Year on Monday.
The Supervisors appointed Mike Dickson as Chairman of the Board and J.D. Kuster as Vice Chairman. The Board will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of March and then from April through the end of December they will only meet on Tuesdays.
County Auditor Dani Fink said the Board discussed that in previous years regular business was taken care of on Tuesdays and then the Budget workdays would be on Thursdays and the Supervisors agreed it doesn’t have to be that way.
In other news, Karen Rosenbeck is resigning from the Veterans Affairs Commission effective January 31st. The Supervisors will look to fill the position by appointment at a later date.
