A Glenwood man was cited with failure to maintain control following an accident in Mills County. 32-year-old Lucas North was driving a 2009 Kia and traveling north on Levi Road when he lost traction and control of his vehicle, due to the speed of his driving in the weather conditions. The Kia went into the west ditch, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times. Authorities say North was unable to maintain control of his vehicle and the Kia is a total loss. The driver was cited and transported to Methodist/Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs for unknown injuries.

On December 30th, The Mills County Sheriffs office arrested 24-year-old Devin Brandon Jackson of Council Bluffs on a warrant around 10:54 a.m. He was charged with 2 counts of Failure to Appear and his bond is set at $100,000.
Mills County Sheriffs also arrested a 24-year-old Shenandoah man on a warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance. On December 30th at 2:14 p.m., Jacob Lee Mattox was arrested. His bond is set at $1000.
