(Area) A Special Traffic Enforcement program is underway through January 1st.
Shelby McCreedy, Iowa State Patrol Trooper and Public Information Officer, said with this special traffic enforcement program there will be an increase in law enforcement on roadways.
McCreedy said the best advice they can give to individuals to maintain a safe holiday is to celebrate with a plan which means either establish a designated driver, call a taxi or an Uber, and most importantly if you question whether you are safe to be behind the wheel of a vehicle or not – don’t. Play it safe and find somebody else to get you home.
