(Creston) Creston Police arrested a Creston man for failure to appear on assault and drug-related charges.
Police arrested 26 –year old Patrick IIams on Saturday at Mills and North Street on a Union County Warrant for the charge of failing to appear on the original charge of Domestic Abuse Assault – Injury or Mental Illness. He was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1st Offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine 1st Offense. He is being held in the Union County Jail on a $3000 bond.
In a separate case; 36-year old Alexander King, of Creston, was arrested on the 900 blocks of N. Sumner for Driving While Revoked. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $1000 bond.
In other activity; 20-year old Kayden Witt, of Creston, was arrested at the Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of Arson 1st Degree. He is being held in the Union County Jail awaiting bond.
