(Adair) The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old David Paul Willitzer, of San Diego, CA, following a traffic stop on Thursday.
Willitzer was eastbound on Interstate-80 at the 22 mile marker in a red Mini Cooper when a caller had advised the vehicle was unable to maintain lanes. He was stopped at the 76 mile marker after being located by law enforcement who reported Willitzer crossed the center line several times and had an open alcohol container in the center console. He’s charged with OWI 2nd Offense and was held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office also reports 44-year-old Joseph Eric Funke, of Fontanelle, was cited and released Thursday for Driving While Barred.
