(Greenfield) On Wednesday, the Adair County Board of Supervisors approved the hiring for the new Engineer Technician position, signed a Right-of-Way contract, and received a Sheriff Vandewater report about insurance compensation for the Jail Administrator position.
Timber Woosley, Auditor Clerk, says an applicant interested in the Jail Administrator job wondered if there could be compensation when not participating in the county’s health insurance plan. Sheriff Vandewater was advised to check with County Auditor Mandy Berg on the issue.
The Adair County Board of Supervisors also approved the hiring of Kyle Jorgensen for the new Engineer Technician job. Jorgensen’s starting salary will be $24.25 per hour. In addition to that; the Supervisors approved a Right-of-Way contract for a temporary easement for .34 acres for $210.28, on the N34 Richland project.
