(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports two break-ins and one arrest.
Creston Police arrested 39-year old Abraham Schweers, of Lenox, at Sumner/Howard on a Union County Warrant for 5th Degree Theft. Authorities released him from the Union County Jail on a $300 bond.
Roxanna Peterson of 400 New York Ave reported that on Monday, December 21, at around 1:15 a.m., someone came onto her property and took a radiator sitting outside next to the garage. The loss is estimated at $300.00.
Richard Ray of Creston reported that sometime in the past 24 hours, someone broke into his vehicle while parked in the lot at his apartment building. Ray reported to the authorities that a Seiko Watch and a handicap placard were taken from the vehicle. The loss is estimated at $75.00.
