(Neola) A Shelby man died in a single-vehicle accident in Pottawattamie County.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says on Sunday, December 20th, at approximately 7:56 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to the area of the 23 mile marker of Interstate 80 westbound for a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, deputies located a Chevy Silverado that had left the roadway and struck the 298th Street overpass.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 26-year-old Andrew Redinbaugh. Mr. Redinbaugh was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
