(Creston) Creston Police report an arson arrest and a series of vehicle break-ins over the past two days.
Police arrested 17-year old Garret Don Sharp of Afton on a charge of 1st Degree Arson. Authorities transported Sharp to the Union County Jail. Sharp was waiting to see a Magistrate Judge at the time of this press release.
Police report five break-ins on Tuesday and Wednesday with losses ranging from nothing to $100.00. Perpetrators broke into vehicles at 1306 W. Adams Street, 104 S. Stone Street, 401 W. Lucas Street, 301 N. Vine Street, and 504 S. Poplar Street.
