(Sidney) The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on drug-related charges.
According to the Fremont County Sherriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 32-year old Chad Sheard of Omaha, Nebraska and 30-year old Danya Schafer of Springfield, Missouri.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation following a traffic stop on Sunday at around 8:00 p.m. in 1200 block of Washington Street, in Hamburg. A deputy spotted a Cadillac SUV with heavy front-end damage and a headlight out. The plates on the vehicle came back to a 2005 Buick.
Officers located paraphernalia with a white crystal substance and other items inside the vehicle.
Authorities arrested Sheard and Schafer for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both subjects were taken to the Fremont County Jail and held on a three-hundred-dollar bond.
