(Red Oak) Two snowplow drivers’ escaped injury in a collision on Saturday morning.
According to the Red Oak Police Department, the accident happened at around 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 34 and 200th Street.
Police say a 2013 International driven by 47-year old Vince Edward Abraham, of Villisca, was clearing snow on the north side of the intersection. Abraham backed up and struck the side of a southbound 2009 International driven by 32-year old Jacob Matthew, who was crossing the intersection.
The accident caused around $5,000 damage to the plows. No citations were issued.
