(Atlantic) Cass County Public Health continues to offer free flu vaccines to the public.
Amy Anstey, Public Health Nurse, said you do not have to be a Cass County resident to receive the free flu vaccine.
“It’s really important this year to get those flu vaccines because of COVID-19,” said Anstey. “Because the COVID and the Influenza symptoms mimic each other it would be great to be able to have as many people as we can, six months and older, vaccinated for Influenza during this season so that we try to combat some of those viruses mimicking each other and then we know better what you have.”
The free flu vaccines are available by appointment, seven days a week. To make an appointment, call 712-250-8008.
