The Lady Vikes are ranked #6 in Class 2A by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. Audubon coach Darran Miller says his team will be opposing three of the best players in the entire conference when they face Kailey Jones, Claire Denning, and Claire Harris.
Tuesday will give the Wheelers a great sense of what’s to come this season, but so far in practice coach Miller has been encouraged by his team’s outside shooting and unselfishness.
AHSTW looks to put a better foot forward compared to their 57-54 loss to CAM last week. Lady Vikes coach Jill Vanderhoof says Jaci Christensen and Aleah Hermansen are Audubon two biggest threats.
AHSTW wants to push the pace, but not force anything that isn’t there.
