(Atlantic) The Cass County Extension office has an opportunity for you to learn all about being creative and thrifty this holiday season with the DIY Holiday Gift Box challenge.
Shelby Van Horn, County Youth Coordinator, said the kits are designed for youth in grades K-6; however, any age is welcome to participate.
“We’re going to utilize different STEM skills and Elements and Principles of Design to create some unique gifts. The box is going to include the supplies to create the gifts, wrapping paper, bows and greeting cards,” said Van Horn. “The box itself is $10 just to cover the cost of some of the materials and it should be a really fun activity to do at home with your family.”
Boxes must be preordered by December 1st. You may pay by cash or check for your box at time of pick up. Pick up will be available beginning December 7th. Contactless curbside pickup will be available.
