(Guthrie Co.) The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors approved a contribution to a broadband study at their meeting Tuesday.
Guthrie County Auditor Dani Fink said Sarah Gomez with Midwest Partnership presented the broadband study they are working on throughout the Midwest Partnership area. “They were wanting to know if Guthrie County would contribute $2,934 for this study and the board went ahead and approved the funding for that.”
In other action, the Supervisors approved County Engineer Josh Sebern’s request for a bridge replacement SWAP Funding agreement with the Iowa DOT. The Board also approved a payroll change notice for Dana Tews. Dani Fink said Sheriff Marty Arganbright hired Dana Tews as a part time Sheriff’s Deputy to help out in the jail for the time being.
