(Anita) CAM’s Lane Spieker, Colby Rich, Joe Kauffman, and Cade Ticknor have all received All-State Football recognition from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association.
Spieker was named to the 1st team as a running back. He ran for 1,753 yards and 33 touchdowns. Spieker averaged 9.0 yards per carry and also tallied 180 receiving yards. He caught three TD passes and had six special teams return TD’s.
Rich was selected as a 2nd team defensive lineman. 15.5 of his 25 tackles were tackles for loss and he had seven sacks.
Kauffman and Ticknor each made the third team defense. Kauffman led the team with 88 tackles. He recovered four fumbles and intercepted four passes with two defensive touchdowns. Ticknor registered 68 tackles including eight tackles for loss. He recovered three fumbles and returned his only interception of the season for a touchdown.
