(Creston) One person was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Sunday in Creston.
According to Creston Police, the accident happened at around 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of Sumner Avenue and Adams Street. Authorities say an EMS ambulance transported 53-year old Julie Sandeman of Creston to the Greater Regional Medical Center for treatment.
According to the report, Sandeman was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram Pickup waiting at the intersection to turn left, when a 2016 GMC pickup driven by 26-year old Ryan Sandoval of Hastings, Nebraska, came up behind the Dodge. Sandoval misjudged the distance and did not go around the Dodge pickup far enough and struck the Dodge’s right rear-end.
Sandoval was not hurt. No citations were issued.
