Shelby County Farm Ground Auction to be held December 15th

(Harlan) The Shelby County Farm Ground Auction will be held in December.

According to the Shelby County Board of Supervisors minutes, the auction will include 145 acres of the Shelby County Farm south of Harlan as well as 108 acres of the Solid Waste Board farm ground located at the Solid Waste site northwest of Harlan. The auction will be held December 15th at 9:00 a.m. at the Therkildsen Center in Harlan.

In other news, the Shelby County Board of Supervisors approved naming Roger Schmitz, Geralyn Greer and Jane Smith to the Magistrate Court appointing committee.
