(Greenfield) The Adair County Board of Supervisors agreed to participate in a Broadband Study. Representatives from the Des Moines Partnership and HR Green presented the proposal to the Board on Wednesday morning.
Adair County Auditor Mandy Berg says the group explained how the study could improve broadband connection within the county, particularly in the rural areas.
The total cost of the study is $338,000.00. Each county’s cost share is based on a per capita basis. The Adair County Board of Supervisors agreed to pay their share, which is $1,963.00.
The Board also discussed the face mask policy, stating; everyone entering the courthouse must wear a mask, and employees working in the office must wear masks when it’s impossible to social distance.
